Originally from Alexandra, Central Otago. Have lived here in Wellsford for four years. I have run Northern Helping Hands for 8 years which has grown and changed over this time. This organic growth changed to a lot of community projects and initiatives for the Wellsford Area. Now, as a weaver for Neighbours Aotearoa and Wellsford Kainga I am so passionate and invested in helping Wellsford grow and to build on the amazing structure we already have. As part of my role I am trying to learn Te Reo which is challenging!

Born and bred here in the Kaipara, My Whanau proudly Descend from a local chief, Arama Karaka. Reggie & Ron Walker are my Grandparents whom shared close friendships and memories with many from Wellsford.

My current role as a Wellsford Community Weaver gives the opportunity to connect our community towards building one big Whānau.
